For 2 weeks of tracking for their new album with producer Jamie Candiloro, it felt like Ragbirds were living here! It's a rare treat for us to have one talented band all set up and ready to play whichever of the dozens of instruments in their arsenal. Can't wait to hear the finished CD!,

The week before, Drew DeFour and an amazing group of studio cats cut a live to 24 track analog (including live backing vocals!) project. We mixed through the harrison, onto Rollie Tussing's Otari MX5050 - all analogue - no digital anything - just plate reverb or tape echo, analogue compressors and eq. We're just waiting on mastering at Baseline, and then pressing up some records. |
